CITY OF SYDNEY needed to activate community support to ask politicians to stop the Westconnex Roadworks and reconsider the Waterloo development plan. We worked with City of Sydney to condense the message and produce succinct and heartfelt scripts. A cool retro feel felt right to communicate that Westconnex is a 1950’s approach to solving the issues facing Sydney’s streets and commuters in the future. The design team came up with a beautiful hand drawn naïve style of illustration to get the NSW Government to rethink the over-development of Waterloo.
